Instead of downloading drivers use the supplemental CD that came with the laptop next time. Your choice here. I've looked on other Dell laptops (Inspiron & Latitude D) dell latitude d610 pcmcia they both show the CardBus controller/driver in the “PCMCIA Adapters”.
I received a Dell Latitude D notebook for Christmas. Never used it and can't see it, but it is supposed to be 'part of' the PCMCIA slot??
